Hello! I’m Lori in Round Rock Texas (Central Texas-near Austin)…new to the Bluebird Cafe and new to bluebird boxes. My husband bought a box for me, which we installed a few weeks ago – using specific instructions on location, predator baffles, etc. Anyway, I am thrilled to announce we have a pair and so far 2 eggs!! This has been more exciting than I could have imagined. Unfortunately, she as chosen a week that has rain and storm predictions all week long. Is there anything I need to do to protect the box or help in some way? The box is new and seems to be leak-proof for the most part…just want to make sure I do what I can.
