I had one fledge 17 days ago. The baby, Patriot, has come out of hiding this week and is being fed by the parents. It’s quite a sight.
The parents built a second nest in the same box and in another box close by within 24 hours of fledging. They are around daily and go in and out of the box all day long, yet no new eggs after 17 days of second nest building.
Any thoughts?
