2nd nesting

      G’morning all,
      I checked my nestbox yesterday and the bluebirds have completed another nest! They are still feeding the 4 babies from the 1st brood. I’m hoping to see an egg any day now!

        That is kind of quick for the second nest but they are preparing for the next clutch of eggs. Good luck Dana

              Hi Tammy,
              They fledged on May 10th & 11th. About a week after that the mama started building a 2nd nest and it was completed by the 23d. There’s now a clutch of 5 eggs! If all goes well they are due to hatch around June 9th. Meanwhile papa blue is still feeding the fledglings from the 1st brood.

                Hi Connie,
                Thank you so much! I’m hoping to get 3 nestings out of them like last year. We shall see….
