Well, my baby bluebirds fledged today, I believe all three of them but have not looked in the box yet – wanted to be sure they were all gone. Mama and papa took mouthfull of worms up into our big trees which were just in the right spot for fledgings. It has been a long, worrysome hatch, but as always, it is worth it. Now, the parents will take them away in a few days to teach them how to humt – then bring them back to the worm cage feeder when it is about 10 days after fledging. They will be on their own soon.
