      Hi all,
      I’m happy to report the bluebirds are back again and working on their 3rd brood! They came back a little over a week of the babies from the 2nd brood fledging. Papa blue is still feeding them. Four eggs are in the nest and due to hatch this coming week if all goes well. This is the first year I have had a 3rd nesting from the bluebirds and it is exciting!

        Dana, that’s great news‼️ I was happy getting 2nd nestings. They are still working on round two, so I believe it will be too late in the season to get a 3rd nesting. Sure is fun and exciting. Congratulations.

          Well Dana, I hope I am as lucky at this end of PA as you are out your way. My 2nd nesting fledged 2 weeks ago today, so maybe it is too late in the season for a 3rd nesting, but I am not giving up hope just yet. Congrats on your first 3rd nesting. I am really happy for you.
