Another first BB egg today

Well, finally got my first BB egg this morning – I put spooker up and no trouble with her – she went inside and checked it out and came out – all okay. No need to put up wren guard up quite yet as have not seen or heard any yet, but will keep watch. This new nest/egg is in a really good box and good location, where I can see it well – papa has a fence fairly close by and a tree to keep watch from.

I had to quit feeding my peanut butter suet the past couple days to encourage these white-crowned sparrows to go home – will be glad when I can start feeding the worms to my pair of blues.
