When I came downstairs this morning, the little guy/gal was still in the house chirping for food so I fed him/her and went about getting myself together and the next thing I heard was him chirping in a different area, he had flown out of the box again and was sitting in front of the garage and later on the side walk. I had given him a few more mealworms and then I had to leave for an hour and when I came back he was gone. Have no idea where to. I will miss the mothering I did, but nature has to take it course. Bye, Bye, Baby Blue.

You did the best you could given the situation.

So sorry! At least he was loved and cared for until the very end. xoxo

That I did Dana, it was truly a labor of love.

Thanks Lisa, that he was. Hopefully next time will turn out better.

Sassy, I feel for you. Every loss is so sad. But they always keep trying…
