:bluesinbox: I am so happy, shortly after I posted this morning I was in the bedroom and looked out the window and a female BB was sitting on top of the box, then flew away only to return a little later and then I saw papa a couple times sitting on the clothes line T (post) and on the finial on top of the box. I am jumping for joy. :hoppingblue: Now to keep a vigilant eye out for that HOWR.
Guess it was the torrential rain that pushed them away or just part of Mother Nature. So glad to report they are back.

Good for you Connie. Patience is the watchword with blues. That and vigilance for trouble (HOSP, HOWR, critters, etc.) Have a good day.

Thanks to you also Randy, I hope they reward me too. I had such bad luck the last two years, with Mama BB disappearing. I hope that does not happen again. I just saw Mama fly out of the box, so maybe there is an egg in there now. I will check later today or tomorrow.

Happy for you, Connie – yes, patience is needed but SO hard to comply! Hope there is an egg.

Thanks Carol, I will let you know once I check. I hope there is one or maybe two by the time I get out there.

Checked the nest a little while ago, so far 2 eggs, so I am guessing one on Sat. and one today since there was nothing in there Friday afternoon.
