Probable fledge day tomorrow. Praying the neighborhood firecrackers don’t upset, freak out, or disorient them. Fingers crossed!!!

Good Luck! Let us know how it goes. July 4 is a nightmare for my chihuahuas–lots of shivering and hiding. Hopefully your baby blues won’t have the same reaction!

Miscalculated. One is 17 days today and the other 2 are 16 days. Firecrackers going off all over and mom still taking mealworms in. I am relieved!!!

It’s so scary for the dogs. I hate it! And they will keep it up for days around here!

I’ve been sitting outside this evening and watched the parents go in and feed them at least 20 times. So I can’t imagine a fledge tomorrow!

                  Any “peeking” going on?

I was sure it would be today because mom and dad didn’t take the mealworms to the box in the brief 15 mins I had to watch this morning. But when I walked up to the box tonight they bombed me badly. So I am assuming they are still in there and it’s too late to peek. Praying that they are OK!!!

I kind of peeked and they are OK. Praying I didn’t scare them…

Hooray!!!! All three made it out safe!!!!!! Of course I missed everything since I had to go to work but they were peeking like crazy and I knew they would. One day I hope to witness a fledge!!
