I was so hoping I would get a 3rd nesting this year being this pair of
started much earlier than any I had before. Guess it was just not meant to be. I am thrilled that I had 2 successful nestings and all hatched and fledged. We were gone for 5 days and I was not sure any of them would still be here when we came back, but I put some dried and live mealworms out and around 7:30 PM yesterday evening and I saw Papa and a couple other blues out at the feeder. I saw a few again at 6:00 this morning but had nothing in the feeder for them, but at least I know they are still around.
