She looks sleek as a seal diving into the sea! Wow–you were right, Dave. That’s a cool photo!! Thank you for taking time to share it. Can’t wait to show it to my DH. He loves taking pics of the bluebirds.
@phillyblues – yea, this box is in full sun almost all day so I nailed a big square piece of wood to the top of the 4×4 the box is on. Shades it nearly all day and helps keep the rain off. They seem to like it too, they are there a lot hunting off the edges. Hoping they take advantage of the shade under it by standing on the nest box roof, the male has a couple times.
