Hi all- hope everyone had a great winter. I’ve got bluebirds nesting out back (5 eggs so far) with a spooker up. Titmice are nearly finished building nest out front. After 1st egg, should I put spooker up for them? Have lots of HOSP. Never had them nest with me, so very excited. Will put up hole reducer after 1st egg to keep bluebirds out. Happy nesting, everybody!

TUTI can be funny little birds. If you are going to use a spooker, go about it gradually. Too many streamers at once might be too much for them.

I ordered an extra spooker, but just got it. TUTI have laid eggs & think one has hatched? They keep them hidden away, so I had to dig around a little bit to see them. Lord, they have everything in that nest! I did see a HOSP approach the box & look in yesterday. I hope they don’t wreak havoc! EABL’s should hatch within next 2 days. Good luck to everyone!
