The weather here in Western PA does not feel like Spring but we are fortunate compared to the Eastern part of the state, we may see an inch or so of snow here, but at 27 degrees I walked out on our lower deck with the dogs and sitting on one of my BB houses was a male BB. He flew as the dogs ran through the yard but returned a little later. Have not seen him since but it sure is a good sign and makes me so very happy. I am assuming he is just checking out territory for a nesting area and I hope this is one that will be chosen. I did not see a female at all.
