Probable fledge day tomorrow. Praying the neighborhood firecrackers don’t upset, freak out, or disorient them. Fingers crossed!!!
July 4, 2017 at 11:56 am #5281Good Luck! Let us know how it goes. July 4 is a nightmare for my chihuahuas–lots of shivering and hiding. Hopefully your baby blues won’t have the same reaction!

Bedford, New HampshireJuly 4, 2017 at 7:57 pm #5287Miscalculated. One is 17 days today and the other 2 are 16 days. Firecrackers going off all over and mom still taking mealworms in. I am relieved!!!
July 4, 2017 at 7:59 pm #5288It’s so scary for the dogs. I hate it! And they will keep it up for days around here!
July 4, 2017 at 9:02 pm #5293I’ve been sitting outside this evening and watched the parents go in and feed them at least 20 times. So I can’t imagine a fledge tomorrow!
July 4, 2017 at 9:04 pm #5294Any “peeking” going on?
Randy
Bedford, New HampshireJuly 5, 2017 at 9:29 pm #5350I was sure it would be today because mom and dad didn’t take the mealworms to the box in the brief 15 mins I had to watch this morning. But when I walked up to the box tonight they bombed me badly. So I am assuming they are still in there and it’s too late to peek. Praying that they are OK!!!
July 5, 2017 at 9:56 pm #5359I kind of peeked and they are OK. Praying I didn’t scare them…
July 6, 2017 at 10:03 pm #5385Hooray!!!! All three made it out safe!!!!!! Of course I missed everything since I had to go to work but they were peeking like crazy and I knew they would. One day I hope to witness a fledge!!
July 7, 2017 at 5:44 am #5394Congrats! I’m glad everything went okay. :-)
