Has anyone here in Missouri or close by seen any wrens yet? My mama blue has 4 eggs now and I believe she is incubating, as I found here on the nest just after noon today. I have spooker up but did not put on wren guard yet since I have not seen any HOWR yet (but they are sneaky). I really wanted her to settle in to the incubation mode before I threw her another “gadget” to her box.
Yes Carol, I have definitely seen HOWR in my area of MO. I have two eggs as of this AM, so I put up the wren guard first.

Thanks BZ – will definitely put up wren guard tomorrow morning, pronto! Mama blue has had two days with the spooker (with that red mylar ribbon I was so worried about) and she laid 4th egg today and I believe is incubating, so she should be truly committed to that nest/eggs. Put up spooker first because I’ve been fighting them at two different boxes.
