Avatars

Tammy or Cher, did we lose the ability to use an avatar? I know you mentioned something last year about the forum administration but do not remember the outcome.

David, I had to de-activate the avatar plugin last year because it was doing strange things. It’s since been updated, so I just tried re-enabling it. Let me know if there are any weird things that happen as a result.

I guess Cher deactivated the avatar plug-in because it wasn’t working. She reactivated it. There are so many glitches.

Cher – whatever you did with the update, it worked. The avatar is back. I see yours and mine on this thread but not Tammy’s. I am going to check the other pages now.

Cher and Tammy, I do see avatars on for some of the members but quite a few are missing. I do not remember all who had avatars before but I know that Carol in Missouri, Tammy, Rich, and several others did. Hopefully they will return soon.

That, I do not know. Mine showed up as soon as I reactivated the plugin. You can try – go to your profile and try to upload an avatar (not a profile pic, look for the avatar field below that). I make no promises. I know there was a glitch with the profile pages where it was causing a fatal error on the site. But try it and see what happens.
