      Hi there. New member.

For weeks we have a bluebird striking our living room window. We have put paper on the window, we had screens up, we closed the blinds, and nothing is working. They do not have a nest in our yard, and took away the feeders.

He or she keeps flying at it, sitting on the sill. This is not just once or twice this is for 10 hours straight.

We have googled everything, but nothing is working. I was hoping some of you amazing supporters here could assist us before this little guy/gal hurts themselves.

      Thank you for your time.

Perhaps hang a silhouette of an owl or hawk on the window. I’ve heard that may discourage them.

Hi. Welcome. There’s not a sure fix for this other than what you’ve tried. They see their reflection and think it’s another bird. It will stop eventually.
Someone on this group years ago papered their entire windows and their bluebirds still did that.
The stickers help with window strikes but not so much with a bird that feels aggressive of their reflection.
Did you paper it on the outside? That might work.
