I have seen my 4 babies in next #4 about two times and been watching parents – they are bringing them worms (what few I put out) and bringing them bugs. Two fields of hay next to us have been cut and all kinds of birds are getting the bugs, etc. I will look at them again in a day or so. Have had a cool spell instead of the 90 degrees heat and this has been good thing.
Has anyone been having trouble posting as Cher mentioned a few days ago?
It is good to hear that the little ones are doing okay in the heat.
My bluebird parents are feeding the young ones away from our back yard in a wooded lot nearby. There must be a good supply of bugs over there because they have not been cleaning out the mealworm bowl. Wrens and chickadees spend more time in the mealworm feeder that the bluebirds.
