So, after the infertile eggs that Momma abandoned she has built a new nest. We were away from Friday to Monday night. I checked the slot box this AM and her nest is pretty much complete. I anticipate the first egg in the next day or two (it’s supposed to be cooler and rainy tomorrow and history dictates she won’t lay on a rainy morning). This is almost certainly my pair from last year (they know me so well that they barely move when I fill up the Blueberry Suet that they love). I will report when Egg #1 is in the nest!
