      I hope your year is great Sassy!
      My nest looked totally complete Tuesday so I’ve been disappointed not to see an egg yet…
      This morning I went to put out mealworms and saw what I believe is the biggest hawk I’ve ever seen circling above. I pray my birds haven’t fallen victim :(

        Strange that the nest has looked complete for almost a week and no eggs. Huge sigh of relief when I saw the pair outside yesterday…I guess they know better than we do about when to start laying eggs…
        So glad that huge hawk I saw did not get them…
