I had the pleasure of meeting this amazing lady today. Bet Zimmerman the author of Sialis.org. And she remebered me from the few times she popped in on this forum.

OK …I forgot that photo bucket doesn’t allow us to share anymore so how do you all do photos now.

Wow, Tammy – that is amazing that you got to meet Bet! As far as I would be concerned, that is right up there with the big wigs!! Hope this photo thing gets resolved, or easier – I really miss the photos.

Whoa….that’s a huge picture. Oh well. Thanks Randy. I used Imagflip because thats what i’m comfortable using but I wouldn’t have thought of it if you hadn’t suggested yours.
I’ll have to try yours. I make business images through these type of websites.

Yes, Carol!!! My thoughts exactly and thanks for saying that. I posted it on a purple martin group and no one acted like it was a big deal even though several people there are always mentioning her site. I went, just because I knew she was speaking. Are you doing any programs that you know about?

Great pic of you and Bet – where was she speaking? Yes, I have given one presentation already this year and one scheduled in April. I did not do any for the past couple of years, but decided to do a few more. I’m not getting any younger and feel I need to help our blues as long as I can.

P.S. Caught another hosp this morning and have trap in another box, too. I did see my blues couple on this one box where I caught the HOSP today – hope they come back to it. They need to be staking their claim on one box. I ordered some worms this morning – just hope now that I have something to feed them to!

She was at the Ohio Bluebird Conference. Our annual get together. She was fun to listen to (quite funny at times).
I haven’t done any lessons. No one has approached me. I’d want a powerpoint to use if I did. I’d rather not make my own. Not sure if I even know how to use powerpoint! What do you use? I think I’d like doing it at schools and for adults but now my husband and I are doing disaster relief with Samaritans Purse. If I add too much to our schedule then when a disaster pops up I can’t help as easily.

Tammy, I do not use Power Point at my presentations – just use jpg format for pictures and then play them on a DVD. I then only need a TV to project the pictures on – most places I have done these have a TV available. I have given them mostly to garden groups, civic/sorority groups, etc. For Powerpoint you actually need a laptop and a projector, which I have neither. I have also done 2 presentations at our local Community Center which was then open to the public and had really good turnouts there.

Thanks. I could do that easily. Where did you get your photos. I’v heard National Bluebird Society has a good one now.
