After the failed first brood, Momma laid her first egg today. Textbook nesting. Built in 4 days, then left for 2 days and an egg the next day. I actually saw them mating yesterday morning in the ash tree near the box. First time I have ever witnessed the “deed”! Got the spooker and baffle moved over to the box and now I sit back and wait. I am positive this is the same pair.
