Stafford, VAMay 2, 2025 at 9:07 pm #28102I didn’t even notice. Spell check often puts the wrong word in for me. Or I just forget to proofread what I wrote.

May 11, 2025 at 1:16 pm #28131Not much happening here. The female is sitting on the eggs off and on. I did notice an interesting event about a half hour ago. I just put some mealworms out in the feeder. Both birds watched me. When I went in the house and look out my back window I saw the female blue enter the nest box while the male went to the feeder. After he had eaten a few of the mealworms, he appeared to pick up a couple and flew to the nest box to feed the female. He has just finished his 3rd trip.

Good to see you also, Dana. I missed a good shot today as i was using my trimmer around the bird house in preparation to mow the lawn tomorrow. I peeked in the box and had 5 little beaks wide open looking for mealworms. I had left my cell phone in the basement. Maybe tomorrow.
