Well, after I ran out of mealworms my pair of blues were no where to be seen for about 2 weeks. About 2-3 days ago I spotted papa blue on top of two different nestboxes. I had been putting out some peanut butter suet, but as usual they pouted and would not eat it until they knew there would be no more mealworms. Well, I have spotted papa and I believe one juvenile a time or two at the cage feeder where the suet was. This really made my day/week because I was very down about not having them around for the winter. Oh well, what will be will be . . . .

That is great news. Mine have been gone too. They are now back checking out the boxes. Winter passes by quicker with bluebirds in. Yay‼️

Judy, glad your blues are back, also. They are worse than children about wanting to do their own thing!
