Well after the battle with the ants, mama and papa bluebird built another nest (See “Ants in the Nestbox”) and we have an egg in the new nest. I checked the box this afternoon as I was putting tools away from a deck project that I finished, and found the new egg. So if the timing goes per the Cornell spreadsheet we should have our 5th egg on June 3, incubation for 14 days and hatching around June 17 or 18. I was too tired to get a photo today so I will try to get the second egg tomorrow.P.S. no sign of the ants
