Three out of the five fledglings showed up this morning at my worm cage feeder with parents. They did not enter the feeder but stood on the deck railings on which the feeder is attached and begged to parents for the worms – this is quite a sight. Have no idea where the other two were but have a good feeling they are around somewhere. Papa blue has been protecting “their” box but no signs of a nest yet – it has just been too wet – they need some dried grass or pine needles. Having a really good time watching everything – also have had luck with my VaErt inbox trap on some of the extra boxes the HOSP were interested in. Fun, Fun . . . . .
