Same storm in our forecast, Dana. 1-2 feet expected on Tuesday. Plan to just reload the feeding station with my flock’s favorite “crumble”, and help them ride out the next week of inclement weather.

Agreed, Gin; better now than later. It’s actually common for us to get snow in April, let alone March. I’m simply not a fan of it in either month. Looking forward to Spring projects and nesting season, that’s all… I’ll be patient.

The snow is all but gone. My office is in Boston, but when I left the house this morning there were just a few small traces, where I had piled up the snow with the Kubota. 55 degrees and sunny, today, so when I get home I expect nothing but grass! We have a flock of approx. 22 bluebirds that spend the winter, and both nestboxes on the property have already been claimed. Early spring…
