Just wanted to add that we’ve had a few very cold nights, so maybe that’s why she hasn’t laid an egg yet. At least I don’t think she has.

Thanks for the welcome Carol! I had checked that I wanted email notifications if anyone replied, and I hadn’t gotten an email so I didn’t know there was a reply.

I’m sorry you’re having HOSP problems. I haven’t seen a HOSP yet but am anxious to know if the female bluebird has laid the first egg so I can put the Sparrow Spooker up. I posted a new post just today with a question about nest building.

There’s a very high nest in the box, and I can’t tell if there’s an egg. I took pictures this morning but couldn’t get a good one. I didn’t want to spend too much time looking in the box because the bluebirds were nearby.

How do I add a picture to my post?
