Congrats, Carol. I haven not been motivated to trap and now it is freezing cold out there. I filled my feeders this morning and my hands were hurting!!!

Hey, Perry!! Nice hearing from you! You gave me your trap, right? I’m terrible with names! So glad you are seeing so many need birds at your new place. We would love to here about your Western Bluebirds (and any other bird) if you get them. I love visiting other parts of the country and seeing their birds. There are some different hummingbirds out there too.

Hi, Carol. Sorry, I was out of town. I’ve heard you are suppose to put the bird in a box to give it some protection and let it calm down. I put a lid on the box. And then go out 30 minutes? later and take the lid off the box. Glad it turned out.

I love Gilwoods. It has a decent sized floor and the bluebirds seem to love them. They seem to gravitate toward them.

Hi, Donna. A few of us have moved over here. It might have been wise to wait and move after everyone came back for the season instead of doing it at the beginning…but time will tell. I’m glad you are here again. Not having blues is NO excuse. Stay on and tell us about all your wonderful birds. I’ll try to not let my envy show too much.

I’ve never had a Thrasher at my feeder and redpolls and pine siskins are not common for me here! I was hoping you wouldn’t find us over here because I’m always jealous. You know I’m kidding, Donna!! Love your photos. I need to start taking more! These are all in your backyard? I think someone else is feeding MY bluebirds. The NERVE!! They only come every once in awhile. I have a photo to show you later. I’ll try to take it in the morning and post it tomorrow sometime. You will be SO proud of me.
