Awww….what a beautiful sight‼️ Now you will have a few more mouths to feed with your over load of live mealworms. Enjoy ….and keep the photos coming.

Congrats, David – hope they do well. My five babies are doing well, now 5 days old – parents have been doing their “mealworm train” to them since day 2. Sure is fun to watch!

Thanks Judy and Carol. It is fun to watch the parents deliver the mealworms to the young. With my “explosion” of mealies. I am trying to include some of the small to medium sized worms in the feeder for them to use for the little ones. I am not sure how it will work but thought I would see if having access to smaller sized mealworms would assist in their search for smaller bugs for the young ones.

I keep telling myself that I should leave the birds alone so they can sleep and get strong. But when I take the mealworms out there is quite a draw pulling me over to the nest box to take a picture. So here is the photo of the little ones this afternoon. :bluesinbox:
