      Mine fledged Tuesday and I feel like they are fine because beakfuls of mealworms go next door. I live in the super hot coastal Alabama and almost took the house down because of the temps but moved it the shade an an hour ago just in case. Despite my hammering and racket they are already in and out!!!!

          Gin, even this far South? Unusual behavior I have only seen when the nesting were lost. Maybe because the first one didn’t succeed? They do usually try for two down here.

            Every nesting season has the capacity to be different. And just when we think we know what they will do, they change the game plan.
