Very nice. While you may be disappointed due to not seeing the fledglings leave the nest, you must be happy they fledged and are out in the wild. And you still have pictures of them.
Mission accomplished!

Thanks for the update. Hopefully you’ll be able to observe the fledglings directly. Good luck and keep us informed!
Great news! Male and female bluebird couple have moved in and built a 4.5 inch deep nest out of pine needles and dry grass. No eggs yet.
Still looking to talk to someone about HOSP. Is there anyone I can talk to via email about HOSP? Or if messaging is available on this forum, we can use that, I just don’t see any option/button for it on the site. Thanks.
Trying again. Is there anyone I can talk to via email about HOSP? Or if messaging is available on this forum, we can use that, I just don’t see any option/button for it on the site. Thanks.
I have the Van Ert and RBT out now. Is there anyone I can talk to via email about HOSP? Or if messaging is available on this forum, we can use that, I just don’t see any option for it on the site. Thanks.
Thank you Tammy. I am considering waiting until the repeating trap arrives to install the Van Ert trap so I can use this pair of HOSP as the first decoys. Is that a good idea or should I trap and evict them sooner rather than later?
A female HOSP has moved in with the male and I saw the male bringing nesting material.
It may take up to a week before my Van Ert and repeating trap arrive. What should I do in the meantime? Should I evict them now or wait?
Thank you Tamsea. Van Ert trap is on the way (hasn’t shipped yet). HOSP have been occupying the box the last few days. I also have a repeating trap on the way. I will keep the forum updated.
Hi Tamsea, just wondering if you have seen the above post by me? I would like access to the HOSP control forum. I’m not sure how to PM on this forum; I looked all over for a link or button. Thanks again.

Hi Tamsea,
Can I have access to the HOSP Control forum? There is a male house sparrow perched on the box and going inside and I have even seen him chase away a female bluebird with an insect in her mouth. There was the beginnings of a HOSP nest in the box which I have removed.
Thank you.
