Wow, I’m impressed that you can keep up with so many BB boxes. I can barely keep up with one but my property is heavily wooded. I hate to hear something happened to a femaile BB where you were walking. Thankfully you have more more more.
So sorry you had a storm but glad all is well. Very happy your baby bluebirds are safe and being taken care of by the parents. I’ve had a scare like that before too.
That makes me so happy to hear so many new bluebirds are flying in the skies.
I am posting from PC but I should be able to pull it up on my phone and do it that way. thank you so much.
I tried to post a pic of wren but I’m not sure how but it does have a white stripe above the eye and thank you.
Congratulations!
Thank you so much for the bluebird well wishes.. Happy bluebirding to you and your bluebirds.
All 3 baby birds fledged at 18 days old. The mother bluebird was patiently waiting on each one to come out. I saw her taking food to each one. She worked hard for 15 days alone taking care of them. I’m sure she will continue taking care of them until she thinks they are capable of providing for themselves. Stay safe Bluebird family.
My camera has sound but not like a blink sound that you can talk into. I have a blink but not in my bb house. Thats great! I have 3 baby bb’s 17 days old and something happened to the male BB three days after they hatched but the female has been feeding them. Hoping they fledge before something happens to her. I think my wren was a Carolina Wren after researching. I don’t think they go in nest boxes from what I read. Next year if I don’t take a break from bluebird nesting, I will definitely put up a wren guard even though I have never seen them in my box.
I hope the wren finds another place to roam. I’ve been trying to catch a wren in a cage so I can take it away but apparently it doesn’t weigh enough to activate the trap. Every year a new challenge. I have a camera in mine but not a blink.
Shoot!! I surely hate that happened. I’ve never had one attack my window.

Oh man, I hate to hear that for both of you. I’ve never had a wren in my bb house but I just now this year have seen them everywhere. I’m really concerned that next year I will have that problem. They found out they can build a nest under my deck and was successful which means they will probably come back again and again.
Thank you for the encouraging words. I will be so happy happy happy when I see they have safely fledged.
I totally understand. I appreciate our help.
OK, thank you, I see create new topic now. I was unable to read any earlier emails because it said I do not have permission when I tried to read them.
