CACH are on the decline lately. Being so small, they get picked on & have lots of failed nestings. Have you looked in that box yet to see what’s going on? Should be able to get hole reducer on with normal screwdriver if box is cedar. Wood is usually pretty soft. Besides that, ditto to what others said. Good luck!

Scot- I know that must be a devastating experience! Makes me so mad!!! Did you have a sparrow spooker up (unless no eggs laid yet). I am truly sorry & if HOSP can be that cruel, I would have no problem euthanzing them & doing anything to prevent them from nesting with me. So very sorry!

Hi Bob- where are you located again? Eastern bluebirds are permanent residents of the SE US. You can google a migrating map for EABL & it will show you their ranges. I’m in AL, so mine stick around all year. Feel very lucky for that! Glad you’ve got those beauties hanging around! Regardless of where you’re located, it sounds like you’ll at least keep them coming back!

David- Yay! So glad they fledged! Absolutely love the pics! Mine fledged this past Wednesday. Hope ours all come back to visit! Congratulations!
