So exciting Susan! Hope they are out!
Please keep us posted!
Ugh! Sorry to read this!!!
Ditto lots of mealworms to help out the dad! Praying he can do it!
I’m sure mine would have in the same scenario. He is a super dad!Maybe now I’m grateful we don’t have TRES in Alabama! One more species to worry about!!!
I’m worried about heat too. It’s upper 80’s but box is in sun. Put up a styrofoam shield but it’s not sturdy enough for my liking. Actually caused the wren guard to fall off today. I’m a lousy engineer!!!
I am so glad they accepted the new nest! They are quite determined and invested once they have eggs or babies. Best of luck!!!
Sorry!!!! It is so hard to lose them! I am really worried about my nesting. It’s just so late in the year ;(
I really think the male I have this year would be successful in this scenario. He has been so extremely attentive with feeding and taking the babies next door to hunt while mom built her new nest.
So sorry this happened. Praying they are OK!Exactly sums it up!!!!
That’s what mine did..1 hatched yesterday, 2 today, 1 unhatched. Unusual for mine.
Heck no! I love the support I’ve gotten. It’s amazing!
They are usually long gone by now but have decided on one more nesting. It’s unseasonably cool here.
Gorgeous! I still can’t figure out why my blues don’t overwinter with me in South Alabama!
I can’t do the umbrella because of snakes. Or I guess I would have to do a Krueger guard on the umbrella pole. But if you dont have a snake problem I think your setup looks fine!
