Well, use cat food in the traps. They love it! I’ve gone 15 years without a raccoon but now have one since I let the feral cat lady feed them in my front yard.

I’ve had so many bad things happen but they were always due to my ignorance. In this case you did 1000% of what anyone could do…They have definitely never shown interest in harassing mine either. They don’t try to get in the mealworm feeders. Mockingbirds are my biggest bullies at the worm feeder. We don’t have Robins here so one less harassment source…

Now for empty nest syndrome….I always rushed home like crazy to see mom and dad feeding them. It’s happy they made it bit I will miss those little cuties!I love that box!! Almost like mine except my left side also opens (without plexiglass). I haven’t been in a store in years. I even get my dog food on Amazon. LOL.

Yay Randy! What kind of box did you get? I LOVE my box. Sides open with plexiglass on one side and a slot to put my iPhone in.
I did a wren guard on my box after they already got my first batch and it worked. I know it’s not supposed to but it did.
Hooray!!!! All three made it out safe!!!!!! Of course I missed everything since I had to go to work but they were peeking like crazy and I knew they would. One day I hope to witness a fledge!!
